Hello!
     Any true move of God must find its roots in the local church or it will be lost. The Apostles Paul and Peter operated as evangelists, and their end result was they built the local church. Over the years as we have traveled throughout the US and around the world, I honestly don’t know of a ministry that has consistently done as much or more to reach out to local churches in every city as we have. HMI is a ministry that honors and strengthens book of Acts local churches. The strength of a true book of Acts local church has always been a major focus of ours. Now as the Lord is having us plant Revival City Church in Fort Worth, I would like to share more of our heart behind it.
     Revival City Church is going to be a place where the glory of God resides and you can receive anything from God! This is how our services have always been as evangelists, and it will be the same as pastors. We put no schedule restraints, control, or limitations on what the Lord wants to do. As a result we constantly see the glory of God in worship, the power of God in ministry healing and delivering people, and strong preaching and teaching of the Word. When we do what the early church did, we will see what they saw!
     Revival City Church will be a place of empowering leaders, fun and fellowship, family values, major prayer, worshiping the Lord through giving, missions, and a mandate to shake Fort Worth with the Gospel.
     I started preaching in 1993 and in that time have traveled around the world, done citywide crusades in the US and abroad, done TV, radio, church revivals, built two churches in the Philippines, put two reality TV shows on Fox 4 here in Dallas/Fort Worth, bought and traveled the road with a large tent, done Gospel Festivals on Main St., etc.
     I’ve often looked at the track the Lord has had me on and been frustrated because I’ve done so many different things and it seemed that just about the time something was starting to work well and gain traction, the Lord would move me on to the next thing. Over the last 10-15 years I’ve thought, “Man, with all this experience, if I were a pastor, we would be able to catapult people all over the world into ministry regardless of their call.”
     On top of this, my heart has grieved to a small degree over all these different things because each time the Lord has moved me on to the next project, I’ve felt that I was leaving a harvest field that was ripe. I’ve always thought “someday soon I’ll be back.” In 2005 I preached a week in Myanmar and then a week in the Philippines. You can’t imagine how ripe the harvest field is in southeast Asia. Even now I almost weep thinking about how much I want to go back. But I can’t right now. The call and the need here in the US is far too great. And on top of that, God’s answer for going back won’t always be for me myself to go back, but for us to SEND someone back. I’ve been too many places to go back personally and fulfill everything that God has put in our hearts. But we can send people.
     Now with Revival City Church we’ll have a strong Gospel station where we will raise up and train people to be sent all over the world! Revival City Church is a place for family to grow and be raised up in the strength of the Word and the fullness of the Spirit.
     Would you pray about sowing an offering into the building of this church? As Moses presented the building of the tabernacle and asked for people that had a willing heart and spirit to give, I am doing the same thing.
